!UPDATES!
1st April 05
-APRIL FOOLS DAY!-
OK, today is the openening of this dog site. Feel free to join, and thankyou if you did!

!NEWS!
Isca; the Husky/Shepherd Mix, has been crowned Alphess of The Sierra Mist Pack! Congratulations, and go ahead to join her pack if you wish!

Crunching below your paws, the fresh, crisp morning snow is printed with the rounded marks of your clean, damp paws. Perking your ears with intrest at the scenery sorrounding you, vivid eyes linger on differant things that catch your eyes; the dens of the territory, towering coniferous whose branches sweep your sleek coat gently...the freedom. A little starlted suddenly at the rustling of the bushes, a small grey squirrel scurries off and up a tree. Your sigh is heaved, and suddenly you stop again, wide-eyed at a wolfish lad. A Husky, a handsome male who turns his noble head to watch you with large, vivid eyes of crimson and sapphire. He gives a swish of his long bushy tail, a yip of greeting, and slowly turns to trot toward you.

Gingerly stepping foward, a slight bow of your head is given, and the grey and white dog shakes his head in disapproval. Rising at his tutting, you watch his lips form a gentle and warm smile, only to let yours do also.

"Greetings, traveller. Call me Nanook, I'm the Alpha. I wish to welcome you to my paradise, Leyendas. Go on ahead to the Joining land to see if you're accepted." He raises his head a little, swishes his tail and turns to trot away. Barking your own goodbye, you make your way along to the Join clearing with a hopeful gaze.

-Season-
Winter

-Weather-
Every now and then a slight snowfall drifts by. The sun is quite high, but the air is bitter and the wind is biting. Mainly thin-coated dogs will feel the iceyness of the day, whilst others with warmer pelts would find it quite satisfying. Keep puppies warm and out of the chilling winds.

The Town
[ ]Country Park
The Country Park is a large, open clearing with loads for humans to do. Many people spend their free time here. Some of them are nice...but some can be quite cruel.
Moderator: Nanook

[ ]Streets
The streets are quite busy with people in rushing vehicles, trying hard to get to work. Last thing they want is a stray dog running out in front of their cars...so, beware.

[ ]Village
Along the peaceful boulevard, two rows of neat little houses, smart vehicles parked in their concrete driveways. Most of the people are friendly, and many of them own descent pets. You can come here to chill out, or beg for food.

[ ]The Alley
A long and narrow path between the Butchers and the Bakers, is where dogs are hardly brave enough to go. Many have gone missing here, by horrid men who take them for fighting. Beware.

[ ]The Resteraunt
Probably the best place to get food from the garbage. Watch out though...if any of the staff see you scrounging, they're most likely call the pound.

[ ]The Dog Pound
The staff go around the streets, picking up strays on their travels. Almost all dogs hate the orrid, cold cages, and can only plead their much wanted freedom. Or, you never know...one brave dog might come to your rescue.

[ ]School
This is the youngster's school, aged 5-12 years. Most of them are really nice, and love dogs, yet, watch out. Some can be quite abusive.

Territories
[ ]Silver Pride Pack
A forest, and an open clearing, with freshly flowing river rushing into a clear lake which is fit for drinking and fishing. A medium herd of Red Deer roam the frosted forest, with flocks of Winter birds and loads of snow hare and rabbits. Many dens provide the dwelling canine protection from the harsh weather, and allow their young to grow. It's Alpha, Nanook, is a very welcoming leader, and all you have to do to stay, is ask.

[ ]Sierra Mist Pack
Terrain with lots of trees and a very large clearing. There's tons of food here, whether it's rabbits, birds, deer or maybe an apple from one of the apple trees. It has a large variety of lakes, and it's a clear night almost every day of spring and summer. There's also a large amount of hills for any canine to frolic in. There are lots of dens for pups to grow in, and some dogs to sleep in. Anybody is welcome to the Sierra Mist Pack, all you have to do is ask the alphess, Isca, and maybe she will accept you.

The Countryside
[ ]Silver Falls
Coming here with your loved one is common. The falls' natural beauty is breathtaking, and just to watch its silvern stream rush over is magical to just huddle by your beloved to watch.

[ ]Icey River
Freshly flowing water rushes through toward Nanook's packlands, and this is one of the most beautiful sights. People usually walk there dogs here, and sometimes they just come for the scenery.

[ ]Forest Path
A gravel path was placed through the forests for the pleasure of bird-watchers, dog-walkers and just country folk. But who says dogs can't take a stroll down here, too?

[ ]Moonlit Hillside
The silence, looking up from the side of the hill at the silvern stars would most likely have the female you truly care for fall into your side for a lovable nuzzle whilst watching the beautiful stars together.

The Farm
[ ]Barn
The barn is full of warm, fresh straw, with a few settled chickens cooing in their coops. It's found near the Farmer's house, so be sure to keep quite so he doesn't come out and find you. You can try and steal some eggs if you wish, or just sleep in the warm bedding for the night.

[ ]The Stables
Stabling the finest warmblood horses, and two lovely Blue Roan Shire geldings, is the American-style barn found a little bit away from the Farmer's home. A few of his stallion's are quite aggresive, and don't enjoy the company of their canine enemy, so try not to near their stables. Dogs can either sleep, or just hang out in it from the harsh weathers.

[ ]Crop Field
At the sides are some abandoned fox dens, which are perfect for the pregnant females who don't really belong to a pack to nestle down in. Crops only get harvested in Summer, because of the snowy weather.
